On Saturday November 22nd, from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm, there was a seminar on Zoom entitled "Protecting our Civil Rights: What Maryland has to Offer".
guest speaker Julianne Cozzetto, Head of the Civil Rights Division, Office of the Attorney General.
Since we cannot depend on the federal government because of all its changes, we must focus on Maryland. The seminar will talk about the various types of discrimination and we will review such issues as when should a person who thinks they have been discriminated against go to the Maryland Civil Rights Commission and when should they go to the office of the Attorney General. This will be a great opportunity to have your questions answered by a wonderful expert.
If you want the “Know Your Rights handbook”, please email Sharon Maneki, Director of Legislation and Advocacy, at nfbmdsm@gmail.com
